- Marie Kondo’s book The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up

- Francine Jay’s book The Joy of Less.
Different approaches to decluttering
They then reflect on the different approaches to decluttering including:
- Category by category (e.g. books, clothes etc)
- Room by room or zone (e.g. kitchen or a just start with one cupboard)
- Time method (e.g. one hour a day or 21day blitz)
- Number of items per day
- Adopting the one in one out rule.
The benefits of decluttering
The benefits of decluttering include:
- Make more physical space
- Make it faster to find things and put them away
- Save money because you can’t find things
- Removing the emotional weight and guilt of living with clutter.

- Mia talks about how she has improved her meal planning by reframing her thinking and using a grid system approach.

- Dinah talks about a problem she was having with her internet connection and how she should have called an expert earlier rather than try and solve the problem herself.
